"Les Iles 1776" used to be (part of) a farm built in the 18th century (in 1776, indeed). Buildings around it were the rest of the farm, built at different times. In the 20th century, it was turned into a residential place. Most cows have left this part of the valley... :( Between 2013 and 2015, I had it fully renovated to make it a modern and comfortable place whilst retaining its "mountain feel", with amenities and equipment of highest standards, so that the guests have the best possible experience in Chamonix.
in the direct vicinity: You'll find cross-country pistes right behind the house. And La Remise, probably one of the best restaurants in the valley, is located at some 300m of the house.
