We have stayed here several times previously as the location is great for Chania and there is a good sized free car park next door. It's also right on the beach. With this visit we received a complimentary carafe of wine, a small bottle of raki and a large dessert which I thought was a very nice touch.

A comfortable stay , the view and balcony was spacious and good . The bay and beach were very near to the property. Restaurant s in walking distance. Grocery store and bakery all near by too.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Melani Apartments. The location was perfect! The sea almost at a doorstep, sandy beach, quiet area (the tavern under the apts was closed during our stay). About 15 min walk to the centre area. Coffee shop 1 min away. The apartment had all we needed, hot water, clean towels. Very comfortable beds for our liking as we don't like too soft. Nataly the host was absolutely lovely, attentive, helpful and very kind.

Amazing view from a lovely balcony. Lovely stroll into the old town down the beach past several bars. Very clean apartment with very comfortable bed and functional warm shower. Free toiletries and beer or wine. Really nice host. Beach and 2 love cheap bars and restaurants literally outside. Very peaceful and quiet.

The location was perfect. The welcome me and my daughter received late at night was brilliant. We were brought fresh fruit and a carafe of wine to our room. Our hosts couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy throughout our stay.

Do not doubt to book this place for a guaranteed amazing time!! Natalia and the whole team made us feel like part of the family, they were beyond helpful and kind. Below the apartments they have the best fish tavern in Chania (trust me, we were there a whole week) with the loveliest view and the greatest waiter, Bob, with whom we shared many laughs, tips, and became a friend. Did I mentioned they welcomed us with wine and a fruit bowl?? and when we left we got a little gift and cake!? I cannot praise them enough. Sure the building needs an update, but who cares! The apartment is spacious and gets cleaned every day. If you want to experience the best Cretan hospitality, look no further.
