This family-run B&B boasts scenic views of Cashel Bay and cosily furnished rooms with under floor heating and free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy locally sourced, full Irish breakfasts while overlooking the bay and mountains. With comfortable, orthopaedic mattresses, bedrooms at Rossroe Lodge all feature a flat-screen TV and free tea and coffee. Rooms also include a hairdryer and a private bathroom. An extensive breakfast is served every day at Rossroe Lodge B&B, including grilled kippers, French toast, and homemade preserves and bread. The dining room offers beautiful views, and dinner is available on request. Guests can relax after breakfast in the private lounge area, with its leather sofas and turf fire, and enjoy a DVD on the flat-screen TV. Connemara National Park is located 37.3 km from the B&B, while Roundstone Villageis 15 km away. Our home is a modern house built to the highest standard with underfloor heating throughout, solar powered hot water, individually decorated rooms and a warm cozy environment. Guests will feel right at home here whether in their bedroom or in the sitting room available for guests to read, watch TV or relax by the fire. Our dining room has beautiful views over the bay and also we have a decking to sit and enjoy the view with a coffee or a glass of wine.
We, Mary and Sylvain, love the job we do. We have both worked in the hospitality industry our whole working lives. We enjoy meeting new people and welcoming back people who we have come to know as friends. We love to eat and drink, have a laugh and generally hear peoples life stories. We love the area we work in and love to share it with our guests.
In Cashel we are very lucky to be near some of the most wonderful areas (if not the best in our opinion) in Ireland. We are near Roundstone and its beautiful beaches and the lovely town of Clifden. Connemara National Park is also only a drive away with its fantastic walks and the chance to visit Kylemore Abbey nearby. Killary harbour, Leenane, Cleggan, Carna and so many other beautiful little villages are well worth stopping of at for a walk around. You will be amazed to see all there is to visit.
