Barbet Homestay is located in the borderline of Forest and in the fringe of Kitam Bird Sanctuary. Its neither too cold in winter nor too hot in Summer. Rooms are well lit and ventilated having access to sufficient pollution-free natural air flow. All rooms have attached bath, a common living room and and common kitchen. All room have hill view windows and a open verandah front facing. Homestay serves local organic farm fresh vegetables.
Previously served as Sarpanch (Head of Local Self Government) for 10 years and love cooking and serving, the host is fond of music and sports and is engaged in social service apart from Hosting. Conservationist and social activist by passion, loves nature, bird watching and gardening.
Kitam Bird Sanctuary is the main USP of the area, which is located in a walkable distance. it harbors more than 200 species of Birds and Butterflies and large number of insects and fishes. Fishing in two river that flows in its eastern and southern flank is very exhilarating.
