Enveloped in Pine & Deodar Forests, SaffronStays Ekam is a luxurious homestay in Chail (10 mins from Chail palace), a lovely town near Shimla, that was a former summer retreat for the Maharaja of Patiala. In the sprawling 1.8 acre property and 7000 sq ft house, you can choose to be anywhere and you will find yourself immersed in nature. The sight of waking up to tall pine trees, your taste buds tingling with ingredients sourced from around you, the soft touch of dew on your fingertips and the scent of wet earth when it rains, enhances your deep sense of appreciation for nature. It’s an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and you find yourself embedded in a space where you can be at peace. The eco-friendly estate also offers you a chance to pick your own veggies from the home-grown veggie patch & herb garden. Enjoy star gazing from the terrace. Adding glamour to your experience is the al-fresco setup in the gazebo, or a warm, inviting setup indoors. Indulge in guided treks through the forest to the nearby villages and pilgrimage sites with picnics, available at an additional cost. Tourist Attractions Mohan Heritage Park is located 30 km away, approximately a 1-hour drive. Shimla Mall Road is situated 40 km away, requiring about a 1.5-hour drive. Sadhupul Camping is just 8.5 km away, which can be reached in about 20 minutes. Kasauli Mall Road is approximately 58 km away, necessitating a 2-hour drive. Chail Palace is only 9.5 km away, accessible in approximately 25 minutes drive. An 18% GST will be applicable on the food bill. To claim GST, guests must provide a Himachal Pradesh registered GST number, as GST numbers from other states will not be accepted.Guests have to pay Rs 500 per pet, plus extra for meals, if requested.

The backside of the home has another flight of stairs that lead to the spacious lawn. - The ground floor of the homestay near Shimla comprises a gorgeous living room, a well-equipped kitchen and 2 dinning rooms and 2 spacious sit-outs that open to the lawn and the views. - A short flight of stairs will lead you to the first floor with 3 spacious bedrooms (with ensuite bathrooms), a lounge area, and a library. The best part? Every room has its own private balcony for you to make the most of the indoors & outdoors! - The second floor houses the marvelous attic room that offers a stargazing experience. - Room amenities include WiFi, TV, and hot and cold split AC - Up to 4 cars can be parked on the property free of additional charges. - Villa amenities include a TV, lawn, fireplace, gazebo, verandah, sit-outs, library, outdoor court, WiFi, and barbecue. - Guided treks are available at an additional cost.
