It was very warm and welcoming, the room was large with all the mood cons, it was very easy to access the main area of Verona about a 15minute walk, with all it's attractions , and the owners where so friendly and helpful.

Extra friendly staff (plus English-speaking) who go one step beyond to make a guest feel special and provide everything you might need. Cozy, comfortable, tastefully designed and super organized space. For me it was much better than I had imagined...

Company info

We are Beatrice and Marco, the crazy minds behind Casa Babbuino. This place reflects our vision of travel which must first of all be an experience. We wanted to create Casa Babbuino by playing with our passions: music, motorbike trips, the sea and water sports and the food that we tell every day through our blog Il Babbuino Ghiotto. For years, in fact, we have been passionately involved in telling recipes, places, curiosities related to food and travels. We have also created the Baboon Traveler Manifesto and through our Casa Babbuino we hope to meet other people like us! Babuino Ghiotto is our blog born in 2016 after our honeymoon in Indonesia. We have chosen to tell and share with readers our experiences related to the passion for cooking. Over the years we have increasingly understood that food is a great way to discover near and far places and cultures in depth. We believe in the ethical search for suppliers and raw materials, in the “slow” culture and in the unifying power that a good dinner in company has over all human beings of any country, religion and nationality. Casa Babbuino wants to be the expression of our way of seeing life!

Property info

Welcome to Casa Babbuino, a place that will bring you on a journey through the different thematic rooms, a place to live the experience of socializing with us and with other guests, a house in the historic center of Verona that you will live inside and outside its walls, a place called Home. Casa Babbuino is not just a place to sleep, it is a real home, where you feel welcomed, pampered and where you can fully experience the essence of travel and discovery. Casa Babbuino was conceived from Beatrice and Marco's passion for travel, alternative hospitality, and for discovering other cultures. After opening the blog for cooking, travel and food&wine, the Hungry Baboon (il Babbuino Ghiotto), the need arose to have a place where they could share their vision of tourism and try to convey a pinch of their baboon madness. Thus the Casa Babbuino project was born, which, with its original spaces in furnishings and decorations, with themed rooms, large common areas and a relaxing courtyard garden, fully embodies the values and philosophy of the Hungry Baboon. Each room of Casa Babbuino is inspired by a theme, declined both through the shapes and colors and through the furnishings.

Neighborhood info

Veronetta is the most alternative and dynamic district of the entire historic center of Verona. Rich in artisan activities, typical restaurants and beautiful places to spend the evening, it also offers various historical and artistic beauties outside the usual routes of the historic center. We recommend visiting the wonderful Giusti Garden, the Church of Santa Maria in Organo by Sanmicheli, that of Santa Toscana dei Cavalieri di Malta and that of San Nazzaro and Celso. Starting from Porta Vescovo, you can also visit the ancient walls of the city through a wonderful walk in the green that will make you discover new corners of Verona and breathtaking views. Verona, the city of love and experiences Piazza delle Erbe, the Arena, Castelvecchio passing through Juliet's Balcony or the lesser-known well of love. A walk along the Adige, a tour to discover Veronetta or perhaps a picnic among the vineyards of Valpolicella, or a day of entertainment on Lake Garda. If you are thinking of planning a trip to the beautiful city of Verona, these are just some of the wonderful experiences and visits you can do, we at Casa Babbuino look forward to welcoming you!
