WHO WE ARE Our names are Elena and Eugenio and we have been living in Pisa for over 20 years, now with our two lovely daughters. We enjoy eating out and traveling. WHERE YOU'LL BE: You'll be in one of the Pisa’ quietest neighborhood, just short walk to the historic center, but far enough away from the noise of downtown vibrant nightlife. You can get here by car (all the historic center is restricted traffic zone instead) and park in front of the apartment (complimentary parking throughout your stay). Just 10 minutes taxi ride from Pisa airport, 5 from Central Station. You’ll reach the Leaning Tower, choosing between a walking through the historic center, crossing the stunning Piazza dei Cavalieri (a place not to be missed) or following the suggestive Walkway at the height of the Ancient Walls (access 700 meters from the apartment), experiencing an unprecedented perspective on the city. For your convenience: food at home (by using Just Eat App, Deliveroo App, Glovo App). Few steps away: hypermarket Carrefour (open 7/7 from 7:30 to midnight), café, bakery, ice-cream shop, bus-stop to Central Station. PISA: IDEAL LOCATION Pisa is definitely the best located city in Tuscany. Many tourists stay here several days to easily explore our stunning region. We’re lucky to have a big train station connected to all places around Tuscany and to the main cities of Italy. From Pisa you can easily take advantage of many day-trip destinations around the region. LUCCA (must see!) 25 minutes by train. FLORENCE, an hour by train (its definitely the best way to reach it…the train station is in the hear of the city, within walking distance to key sights). CINQUE TERRE, 45 minutes by train to La Spezia; over there, the Cinque Terre Express trains are running every 15 minutes and they reach in a few minutes the Cinque Terre villages and stop in Levanto, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore. This train service is available from the end of March until the beginning of November. There are also trains running once or twice an hour during the winter between the five villages. OUR LOVELY BEACHES, just 30 minutes by bus.
