Completed in 2018 with traditional Swahili architecture, Tarangau House was crafted as a private sanctuary where our signature open-plan design and lofty high ceilings invite coastal breezes and a flowing sense of inside/outside living. You’ll enjoy abundant private spaces to replenish, and a collective of communal hubs to gather, connect, and savour. Tarangau is the perfect location to hit reset, refresh, revitalise and simply breathe in the tranquillity. Our 4 bedrooms are an oasis within themselves, each equipped with ensuite bathrooms, reading lounge and a veranda over looking pool and garden. All stays for the main house are fully staffed and include daily room service, turn down and laundry. We offer the flexibility to choose between self-catering kitchen or a fully catered experience. Our in-house cook can help you coordinate your food & wine purchases and delivery from our favourite suppliers prior to your arrival and during your stay if this option is selected. Housing an occupancy of 8, however this can be increased to 10 by adding the Tarangau Cottage to your stay. Looking out over the treetops, the rooftop deck equipped with its own kitchen offers space for a meditation and yoga at sunrise or the perfect spot to bring the day to a close enjoying sundowners with the afternoon breeze. A beautiful night can even offer you the opportunity to sleep outdoors, under the African star-filled sky.
