Welcome to our Home! Lalanga Homestay is a sweet and true Sri Lankan place. Located near to the Mahaweli River, the house is in a quiet and peaceful environment, out of the city rush, in a cooler climate. Two bedrooms with spacious private bathrooms are dedicated for the guests, each one on a different floor of the house. My family and I enjoy offering a lovely stay for every guest, and, even having your own private space, you will surely feel welcomed in a comfortable, warm and sweet atmosphere. Enjoy here a relaxed and delightful stay. The Temple of the Tooth & the city center are just 2.7 km away, the place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers as well as for business travelers, who are looking for peace, space and loving atmosphere. The storied house is built around an open air living room on the hills of the banks of the Mahaweli river in a peaceful neighborhood, and is surrounded by lush greenery.
A FREE pick up is organized for your arrival from the city center, so that you arrive smoothly at our place. The road reaching the house is not indicated on Google map, so let us know your arrival time, There are 2 bedrooms (Room 1 and Room 2) with each a cozy double bed, with their own attached bathrooms. Room 1 and room 2 are each on a separate floor of the house, so that there is also space for each guest. New and comfortable mattresses equip the bedrooms for you to have a restful night. High speed free Wi-Fi is available in the whole house. The living area, dining area are guests use only, so you can enjoy sitting, relaxing, working in those spaces whenever you want. A little (but friendly) balcony is also accessible from the living area to drink a cup of tea or coffee, enjoying the view of the opposite bank of the river. My parents and aunt are always here to welcome you with open smiles and small attentions, so that there is nothing for you to do, except enjoying.
Travelers have access to their own private bedroom and bathroom, as well as the open air living room and dining area, which are here common. Free parking within the premises is available as well. This is a calm and quiet residential neighborhood, with private houses all around, and it is 100% safe at whatever time of the day and night. Kandy city center is only 2.7km away, easily accessible by Tuk-Tuk, or by bus. Indicate here, which bus, bus stop from the house. A FREE pick up is organized for your arrival from the city center, so that you arrive smoothly at our place.
