It’s a museum of fascinating artifacts and cool passageways! The room is beautifully decorated, clean and has a really nice bathroom. The have a great restaurant and cafe in a beautiful setting. The front desk was so incredibly helpful and kind. Love the blue cat soap and the amazing Xmas gift on my pillow. Wow!

Well-located in the city - inside is like another world, cut off from the grime and noise outside. Breakfast buffet was delicious, and eating area by the pool a beautiful oasis. Fantastic value! One of the rare places in Madagascar that offered shampoo.

Love the spacious bedroom with garden view on the first floor, it's part of the old original house with full of character. Extra bonus, to have comfortable single sofa-bed with cushions by the window for relaxing and read the book. Superb breakfast at next door Bread Mafan especially perfect French bakery, made me feel in Paris (!) Superb restaurant internal, the menu is top-rated especially their wow chocolate fondue on vanilla profiteroles and their homemade ginger rum. Perfect location for walks to access, in the central. I think this is one of the best hotels in Madagascar! :)

The Staff is Amazing and very helpful. There was always one there that spoke some English. The property as described by others is an oasis in Tana. The buffet breakfast they offered is better than any breakfast we have experienced here in Madagascar so far on our tour. We are touring Madagascar for 2 months and so far the three other hotels classified higher end and more expensive can't compare. The are larger and nicer but we don't spend much time in our room. They also have a nice quiet large courtyard around a pool a and a smaller one below. There is also a on-site restaurant that is excellent and affordable.

Beautiful decor, very unique. so many antiques and decorations to look at. Staff was helpful with directions to places. Restaurant was great with an extensive menu. Breakfast place/bakery next door very good and you could easily charge items to your room. Pool area with tables was also a nice place to relax. Shower gel, shampoo, blowdryer and fridge provided. Pretty good location. Shuttle was there to pick me up from airport (US$20).

I staid there on three occasions. Each room was nicely decorated with basic amenities. The outdoor eating around the pool was nice and the restaurant offers great value. My favorite place in Tana for a phenomenal value.
