Situated at the base of La Tourelle Mountain in Tamarin, in an upmarket and quiet residential area with spectacular mountain and sea view. The newly renovated and comfortable apartments open onto a spacious and beautifully landscaped, lush tropical garden. The apartments are situated at ground level, are fully independent and part of a colonial style house. The apartments are modern, clean, very well equipped, comfortable and very secure. They each have a private veranda which opens directly onto the garden. The gardens are regularly sprayed against mosquitoes. Private parking within the grounds is available. In the bedroom, the guests can have a choice of having 2 single beds (90cm x 192cm) or one king size bed (180cm x 192cm). The beds are new and very firm. Bed linen is provided and changed twice a week. There is an air conditioner in the bedroom as well as a fan. It is not possible to add an additional bed, but a camping cot for a baby /toddler is available. There is a large flat screen TV with Canal Satellite chains (French TV). The bathrooms consists of a toilet, washbasin and spacious shower cubicle. The kitchens are fully equipped with new appliances.

I have recently retired from my job and launched myself into the renovation and revamping of our home and garden. I am very proud of the end results. I am very house-proud and love entertaining and pleasing people, and enjoy being surrounded by people. I have taken on this business (guest house) with passionate enthusiasm and am loving every minute of it as it has given me the opportunity to make several good friends amongst the guests who have stayed here and enjoyed some lovely evenings with them. My husband and I are both retired, and enjoy a quiet and discreet family life. We are happy to help guests in whatever way we can and make sure that the guests have a memorable and comfortable holiday.

The apartment is very well situated, being close to shops, bank, medical centre, pharmacy, restaurants, beach, nature parks and golf courses. Tamarin Bay is a very popular surfing spot. Activities available in the area are game fishing, hunting, scuba diving, swimming with dolphins, walking with lions, visit of safari and bird park, nature walks, golfing,surfing and boat and catamaran trips. There are some excellent restaurants in the area offering anything from Chinese, European, Asian, Italian and local cuisine. There are also a few bars and during weekends there is the famous Big Willy night spot. Tamarin is surrounded by mountains, forests and ocean. There are some beautiful nature walks in the area, with many rivers and waterfalls. Mauritius also has many unique species of wildlife and plants for the nature lovers. There are some very good tour operators who will be pleased to offer day trips either by boat to the outer islands for a picnic, or inland to see the many tourist attractions. There are also several very good shopping centres. In the evenings, guests can enjoy a barbecue under the stars near the pool, or a beautiful sundowner.
