Absolutely beautiful! A little slice of paradise!
Secluded and very very relaxing.
Very clean, great AC, comfortable bed, perfect shower.water tank in the room. Very Safe.
The staff is very very kind, Teresa is adorable and so is Federico.
the beach area is very quiet, i recommend water shoes as it is impossible to enter it barefoot due to the corals.
The sunset is breathtaking, unreal view from the bed, woke up to the sounds of the waves and birds.
Lot of wild animal life around.
Jungle cafe for breakfast and la buena vida for lunch/dinner.

Lovely small and friendly hotel. Right in the middle of the village and just a few minutes walking from the beach. The rooms are basic but comfortable, everything you need for a day or two in Akumal. The staff helped me to arrange a snorkeling trip with a great guide (it was just the two of us, much better than the bigger groups you can join on the beach) and helped with working out colectivos, etc.
Offering an outdoor lagoon pool, B&B Villa Morena EcoLiving is a eco-friendly hotel powered by solar panels. located in Akumal, only 3 km from the beachfront.

The hosts are adorable, one of the kindest people I've ever met. They do anything with a smile. It was great being surrounded by nature, hearing the animals when going asleep and waking up. Breakfast was excellent. Great swimming pool. Loved our stay at Villa Morena.

Beautiful very well designed garden making you feel you are alone in a jungle paradise, very nice early in the morning with the sun coming off the trees and sounds of birds.
Very nice touches with good lighting and seating area about the property and swing seat in the room.
Very welcoming host and helpful with the travel cot for baby. Staff seemed friendly.
The pool was so nice and relaxing
It is possible to have dinner at the property for an extra cost, and the dinner was very tasty, unfortunately the host wasn't available for our whole stay but recommended areas to eat in the evening.

I think it should be clearly stated that the ocean swimming and snorkeling on the property is quite limited unless you want to pay for a guide and wear a life jacket. The areas where paid guides take people are often crowded.
No groceries stores in the area, only 7-11 type shops with processed foods.
Breakfast (continental) was quite good. To upgrade to egg dishes was way overpriced.
Very few dinner options available. A couple of restaurants within walking distance. No evening dining at the hotel itself.
If you are not an ocean swimmer or snorkeler but just want to swim in a pool or lay on the beach this place would work for you.

Akumal is a nice town with a very nice beach and a great option to observe sea turtles in the Turtle bay, do a diving course or just chill at the beach. Unfortunately, you can't get to any of the beaches for free, all of the entrance is paid. We found the local guys who were shouting at us and always wanting money for something or trying to sell us something quite disturbing and some of them even rude to us as foreign visitors. The prices the beach are very high in the proximity od the beach. At the end of our stay someone ransacked our friend's room and soon after stole my handbag when we were sitting in a restaurant in Akumal town. I think there is a thief mafia operating around.

There is lots to Akumal not just a restaurant and a little beach. There are beaches, many different restaurants and cenotes. Tami and Elliot will help you understand the taxi system and also how to hop the combis (Public van service) that are cheap and easy to use. They are not chicken busses. There are cenotes everywhere. Some very tiny and some meandering through the jungle. An easy one is Cenote Azul. No real snorkeling but a beautiful place. Charge $10 dollars or much better rate if you pay on pesos. Use pesos as often as possible. Get pesos from the ATMs they have the best conversion rate. The condo beach is a bit of a walk, it who doesn’t need walking, but the cenote flows out into the ocean. Great a snorkeling. Big variety of fish. You can see the transition layer between fresh and salt water. I think our favorite place where we went twice was La Buena Vida restaurant on Akumal beach and after dinner walk up the beach And hitchhiking a golf cart ride back to the highway for a taxi ride ride north back to Sirenis. Most everyone speaks tolerable English but be respectful and learn some rudimentary Spanish like bathroom, beer, check please, thank you and please. Whew. Can you tell we had a great eight day trip?

It was a good place for our troop to convene - 7 in all.
It was a good place for our troop to convene - 7 in all. We had some fun - particularly at the shows. The food was good but not great. The staff was great. The beach was a disappointment - full of seaweed and rocky. Trucks on the beach at 7am sunrise a big turnoff. I would not return unless the beach situation improves.

I didn't spend time in Akumal proper- most of the time was on the resort, but there seemed to be a LOT of options for activities on that stretch of road between Tulum and Playa del Carmen, so as a starting point, finding a resort in Akumal is a great location. My friend and I took a 30min taxi to Playa del Carmen and a 20min ride to swim with dolphins. We also went with the wedding party to Tulum and a cenote which was gorgeous and that trip was very short as well. Lots to do in the area!
- the highest quality of hotel service, very kind, engaged and helpful
-variety of different kind of delicious food nicely served without any issues with reservations (in trs area) + access to all of the restaurants from palladium hotels complex
- wide range of activities (cooking classes, yoga, tequilla testing, diving, archery, shooting etc)
- trs infinity pool and Beach zone were very calm what gives great Opportunity to relax
- amazing chic cabaret show
The food I found was better than other all inclusive resorts we've stayed in. I do think there are too many "fancy" options at buffets like raw fish-looking stuff that is probably expensive to make and doesn't look that appealing to me. Maybe some people like it. The reservation-only restaurants were very good.
The pools are beautiful and there are lots of fun options for kids. The beach is also very safe and swimmable and the snorkeling was great.
Excellent location if you plan visiting Xel-Ha, Akumal (to swim with turtles), Tulum, etc.
It is in a gated neighbourhood so you feel safe at all times, it has access to the beach, a cenote and an absolutely amazing lagoon.
The flat was immaculate, so clean, tidy and nice decorated, with all the appliances you could need.
The hosts are really nice and friendly and thoughtful.
Would definitely stay there again and recommend it.
Great hosts with knowledge of the area and helped understand transportation options and help us select locations and experiences that best fit our wishes. Everything from groceries to the Cenotes that might interest us the best. Even gave us a lift to a recommended restaurant on the beach at Akumal. Excellent view of the bay with the beach at your feet. Great place. Great hosts!
Our room was lovely and quiet, with a nice big bed and large bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beach had algae, but the hotel had a crew trying to keep it clean. The pool was relaxing and it's a 30 walk to the main beach at Akumal where one can snorkel. Staff was also super friendly and helpful.
Super clean room. Good ac. Host was friendly and helpful. Nice little pueblo of Akumal had everything we needed within one block. So nice to stay in a town that feels like old Mexico. Parked on the street in front of hotel. Ate dinner on the beach at a great place the host recommended.
Perfect location in Akumal. Right in the center of the Pueblo and 2minutes drive to the beach. The owners are a really nice couple who were really helpful, thanks again.
The room was perfect with a balcony and private bathroom, and we had a nice little balcony. Our stay was really GREAT!
The location is beautiful, relaxed and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful with your bags or any other request. The Akumal Diving Center is right by the hotel for great snorkeling trip to see the turtles. Also nice restaurant of the hotel. So great place!
Its a little slice of luxury made small. This does not apply to the rooms, beds or pool! The staff goes out of their way to accommodate the best possible experience with the food, communication and options for transportation to the beach and back.
Safe, comfortable, beautiful beaches and easy access. It was our first all inclusive resort, we felt you did a great job! It was a great "home base" to explore the region from. Your staff is amazing - friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable!
The stay was great I loved the all inclusiveness, the pools that overlooked the beach, food was good. They had chocolates and a bottle of champagne for the birthday girl. The fact we could take the covid test on site was great!
Breakfast was fantastic, fresh food and great service
The grounds were kept impeccable as well as the entire property
All inclusive meant all inclusive... Top shelf alcohol and food choices
I definitely will be back
Beautiful and very big territory of the hotel, good beach, delicious a la carte. Everyone is friendly. It a really nice place to spend time as a couple. Super convenient to use hotel’s app to book activities, dinners.
Kids loved the pool. Front desk staff was amazing very helpful and accommodating with everything!! We moved from bungalows to hotel room for a small fee to be closer to pool. Great experience
Hotel and location were perfect. Sad to say we were not able to enjoy the pool, beach or the night due to very high wind and lots of seaweed at the beach.
