Welcome to a big apartment in the center of Nesbyen, perfect for large families or groups of friends who want to come to Nesbyen to ski, bike, go hiking, or enjoy local museums and art exhibits. The apartment is 1-2 minute walk from restaurants, cafes, shopping, grocery stores and the wine shop. The building was built in 1879 and housed the first pharmacy in Hallingdal. New owners rehabilitated in 2021, including new bathrooms, new kitchen, new bedrooms, many new windows, and a fresh coat of paint. The apartment over the entire 2nd floor has a full kitchen, dining room, and a large living room with a small pool table and piano. The three bedrooms can sleep up to 11 people: - Bedroom 1, sleeps 6: Two bunkbeds with a 120 cm bed on the bottom and a 90 cm bed on top. - Bedroom 2, sleeps 2: One 150 cm bed. - Bedroom 3, sleeps 3: One bunkbed with a 180 cm bed on the bottom and a 90 cm bed on top.
Just 2 hours from Oslo, Nesbyen is one of Norway's best places for family-friendly outdoor activities. Among the activities to explore are: Mountain Biking! Nesbyen is nationally known for fast-paced trail cycling, but also has family-friendly trails. HallingSpranget, which runs all the way from Nesfjellet to the city centre, is one of Northern Europe's longest family-friendly cycle paths. Downhill Skiing! Nesfjellet Alpin has Scandinavia's most modern chairlift and is great for the entire family. Cross Country Skiing! There are more than 450 km og prepared cross country skiing trails in Nesbyen. Dog sledding and an animal nature park with wolves, lynxes, foxes, wild boars, moose, muskrats, yaks and reindeer at Langedrag. Hallingdal Museum from 1899 is among the oldest open-air museums in Norway, and houses 30 antiquarian buildings and over 30,000 objects from the entire Hallingdals region. The "Staveloftet" from Ål was built around 1340 and is one of the country's best-preserved wooden houses from the Middle Ages.
