Hi I'm Di and I live with my husband Mark right by the beach in Hokitika. We enjoy cycling on the West Coast Wilderness Trail and walking in the surrounding hills and bush and, of course, along the beach. Coastal conditions can bring challenges and I have created a unique coastal garden in front of the house towards the beach that is constantly evolving. We live upstairs and it is our pleasure to have guests to stay in our apartment downstairs and to see them enjoy the natural beauty of our coast and bush.

We live on a quiet section with the sea ahead of us and the town behind us. The sound of the surf on the beach is the dominant noise along with the sound of the frogs croaking in the bushes after a rainy day. Restaurants, the supermarket, shops, Sunset Point and the Hokitika Driftwood Sign are all within strolling distance of the apartment.
