Cosy B&B in the charming country town of Matamata, with breakfast included. Separate from the main house, we have a self-contained studio unit for up to 2 guests, with a double bedroom and queen bed, TV/Chromecast, free Wi-Fi, bathroom and kitchenette with microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, plates and cutlery, and tea/coffee making facilities. Continental breakfast ingredients supplied in your room so you can make breakfast when it suits you. Great for those on the go who need a comfortable night rest. The unit is next to the main house. You have your own entrance and parking is in our driveway, or on the street. The view from the unit looks into the garden which is part of the main house. There is an outdoor table and chairs for guests to enjoy the garden, as well as another garden which we call the 'cabbage patch' where we grow veges and guests are welcome to take the table and chairs out there to enjoy a more private setting.

Tina & Stephen are a creative couple in their 40's who Iove local markets, exploring new foods and cafes, being creative, walks in nature, learning about other cultures, and enjoy time with their two dogs. Stephen is into cycling, and Tina enjoys cooking. They enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures as Stephen is originally from South Africa and Tina is half Kiwi, half Dutch who spent 10 years living and working abroad.

Hobbiton is 15min drive. Matamata raceway is 5min drive. Town centre, shops, cafes and restaurants are less than a kilometre or a 8-10min walk. We are on the Hauraki Rail Trail cycle way path.
