Matukituki Station is a 6290 Hectare Beef and Sheep Station. At certain times of the year, it is possible to watch some of the farm workings, i.e. Shearing of Sheep, Dogs working stock etc.

Matukituki Lodge lies in the pristine Matukituki Valley, a short 30 km drive from the centre of Wanaka. Set on the 6,290 Hectare Matukituki Station, this near-new, 4 Bedroom home, has the peace and quiet of the country. Matukituki Lodge is the closest accommodation available to Treble Cone Ski Field and Mt Aspiring National Park. We can arrange a helicopter to collect you from the front lawn of the Lodge to take you heli-skiing, on scenic flights around Mt Aspiring National Park or to some remote romantic locations. The Matukituki Valley has some amazing views. The gateway to Mt Aspiring National park, with access to some stunning hiking for any levels of fitness. Jet Boating on the river, which can be seen from the property, can be organised on you behalf. For the more adventurous, Deep Canyoning Trips, which operate on the Station can also be organised. Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand, is only 1.5 hours away, so day trips to this area is easy.
