If you're looking for a place for your family to settle in and unwind, where you can ditch the work attire, get the sunnies and jandals on and soak up some kiwi sunshine, then this country home could be the place for you! Imagine indoor/outdoor flow with enough space for everyone to put their feet up, whether it's out in the fresh air on the sundeck, down in the generous, fully-fenced, private garden or inside keeping cool in the open-plan living, dining and kitchen. The fully-furnished kitchen is just ready for a big kiwi brunch that will fuel up the family for the adventures of the day and then the BBQ makes a perfect way to end the day with a classic grilled feast to tuck into outdoors on a warm summer evening. If the weather or season has you indoors, enjoying some downtime, light a fire in the wood-burning fireplace and then with the available WiFi, Smart TV with Freeview and a DVD player is a welcome set-up for entertainment. An eight-minute drive from the beach at Waipu Cove, head on down and go for a swim or grab your surfboard and hit a few waves or head around the coast a little bit further to see Langs Beach. Don't feel like cooking or need supplies? Waipu township is a quick three-minute drive away, where you'll find the well-known Waipu Pizza Barn a delicious dinner option, as well as cafes, a bakery and the local Four Square for any groceries. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
