Sleeping up to 5 guests, The Tide Watcher is a spacious and modern place to settle into with the whole family or group. At the end of a busy day exploring the Bay of Islands, sit back and enjoy a glass of wine on the sundeck and watch the turn of the tide. With direct access to the ferry, right on your doorstep - you'll be perfectly set-up to take the ferry to Opua. From here you can make your way up to Paihia, further on to Cape Reinga, 90 Mile Beach, or cruise the Hole in the Rock. Summer or winter, relaxation or exploration - The Tide Watcher has you covered! Adults should closely supervise young children to ensure that they do not climb the bench seat at the top of the stairs due to risk of guests should take care when using the internal stairs as they are steep and do not have a note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
