Bijou & stylish. Ideally located for all the delights of fabulous Olhão: bars, restaurants, shops and ferries to the island beaches. By day stroll along the promenade to the marina, stopping off for coffee and to gaze out at the ocean and the magical islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol. People watch the night away whilst sipping drinks and listening to music at the waterfront bars. There is always something wonderful to do in Olhão. Please note that the staircases in the house are very narrow (55cm width) and steep.
Retired ex university academic and administrator and now loving life in the Algarve. We live about 30 minutes away from the property. We will be there to greet guests on arrival and answer any questions. We will be very happy to answer any further questions during your stay. You can contact us either by phone or email.
No. 7 is situated in a lively residential area in the Baixa district of Olhão. This is an area of cobbled backstreets where there seems to be a cafe or bar on every corner. It is only 10 minutes walk to the renowned fish market of Olhão and the fabulous waterfront with its marina and pier. There the ferries are waiting to transport you to the magical island beaches. Even in peak summer you can still find whatever space there you desire. You can enjoy a holiday in Olhão without any need for a vehicle. It is only a 20minute taxi ride from Faro Airport. Once at No. 7 you can access cafés, bars, restaurants, shops, and the ferries to the beaches without a car. There is also a train station about 15 minutes walk from No. 7 to enable you to explore more of the Algarve and Portugal if you desire. For those who have a car there is a guaranteed car parking space in a staffed underground car park 5 minutes walk from No. 7.
