Unlike the bustling Jiufen, Jinguashi seems simple and quiet. We may see the life of this mining town from the movie "A City of sadness",next to it. Come stay in a historical mining village here in Taiwan! Mining was an important industry in Ruifang in the early 20th century. Gold was mined in Jiufen and Jinguashi while coal was mined in Houtong. The mining sites became popular tourist destinations after 1990. Historical Hardwar House, used to be a Laundry shop in this gold mining village. It's sort of a historical residential house in Jinguashi, New Taipei City, Taiwan. And the most interesting is the house may be one of the smallest house provided to rent at the moment. Although it's a historical house, it has refurbished to a modern interior. And inside the house, there is a mini kitchen, a living room, big bathroom and bed room. The house became a totally surprising little house.
There is one thing to remind you that we are an old house rental, not a room, so the clean will be not as 100% as you expected like in modern room or hotels. That is because we try to keep old house, other than crash it and rebuild a new one, which is not legally allowed in this area actually. And we decided to use 70% detergent (dish washer, shower gel..) which is in good and eco quality.
Nearby there is a local restaurant and you can find a convenient store 5 mins walk near The Museum Park. Bus stops are 3 mins walk down. The traffic is very convenient. The whole area is very quiet at night, and people here are friendly. Gold Ecological Park (Museum) is just 5 mins walk from the house. Jiufen old street is 15 mins by bus.
