After several visits to Zanzibar, this is always my favorite spot. The best vibes, friendly staff, perfect location and the barbecues they have a couple times a week really being everyone together. It’s a great place to meet fellow travelers and new friends. The food is amazing as well! The best seafood curry I’ve had in Zanzibar!

Good location right at the end of Paje beach - plenty of loungers, a bar, and pool (!) - at a great price. Dorm room was basic but fine. Each bed has a mosquito net, outlet and fan.

I have been living in Tanzania for over 6 years, and I come to Zanzibar a few times a year. My favorite place in the whole island, especially in Paje, is Drifters. Super fun vibes, great beach, great food, close to everything, and best place to be! If you're traveling alone or with friends, I highly recommend Drifters!

The place is perfectly located. One step to the beach and ocean but they also have a nice pool. I used private room and space in dorms and both were great, depending on what you need. It is very clean, bedsheets were change daily! Food is good, plus the organize special days like seafood barbecue and lasagna day🙌🏻 The most important is the stuff which is nice and helpful, the vibe that they all create is very welcoming and fun. It’s a perfect place for people want to enjoy their time and socialize. Recommend!

Really enjoyed the view in my bungalow. The staff was great and very friendly. The food is heartwarming and the chef always tries to make you feel like home. All of the residents (the drifters) of the hostel are very friendly and share great vibes anyone will fit along and you'll easily make friends. It is very safe in the hostel, I never worried about my personal belongings going missing. Surely, the staff manager was very helpful, be sure to meet him his name was "Shadi" he will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay
