We have a lovely terrace with breathtaking views of the sunrise over the Indian ocean. You can relax in the garden covered with sand under coconut palm trees and tropical plants. We practice sustainable tourism, support the local community, promote local culture and customs and respect our beautiful environment. We have solar panels and water containers to provide electricity and running water during periods of power cuts and water interruption. We can arrange for you excursions to Jozani forest, local caves with spring water, village tours to learn how people live in Jambiani, bicycle or motorcycle rentals, windsurfing, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and other water sports.

Jambo, I am Jacob, the host of this Bed & Breakfast. I am Tanzanian and have 20 years of experience in the tourist sector after obtaining a master's degree in business and administration of tourism from the University of Dar es Salaam. I love my guests, they bring me so much joy and knowledge about different parts of the world.

Jambiani beach has turquoise waters with a laid-back vibe. A beach with powdery sand, clear blue water, calm seas, a constant light breeze, and only an occasional salesperson (who will be friendly and fun to chat with). You can swim in the sea during high tide. At low tide, you can explore the sea floor with corals, colourful tropical fish and other sea creatures - beach shows are indispensable for this experience. There is also kite surfing, snorkeling, boat excursions and other activities on the beach. Jambiani village, where you will have the chance to experience rural Zanzibar life. Walking around the village you will see women doing pottery and handicrafts, seaweed farming, local school, and you can visit local herbs doctors. Inside the village, there are many small local restaurants where you will taste authentic Zanzibari cuisine, seasoned with many spices and herbs or have drinks at prices way below the exorbitant restaurants and bars on the beach. You can hire a bicycle or motorbike to explore the village and the surroundings.
