Looking for an immaculate, modern, and comfortable stay in a luxury mountainside retreat? Perched atop the city skyline, among grand pines and bold mountains, you'll enjoy the perfect quiet getaway! Just 20 miles from downtown and airport, and minutes from some of the grandest ski resorts. Old Mill Golf course is less than 1/2 mile away. Take a picnic up to Silver lake up at Brighton ski resort while you're here, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Great restaurants, day hikes, stunning mountain views, so much nature. You'll have a private patio and entrance, sunroom off your bedroom, a whole yard to yourself to enjoy the birds and the city views. Speedy wifi, luxury linens, Nespresso bar, and full snack drawers. Treat yourself to our gourmet breakfast menu, a favorite amenity among our guests . My husband and I love to host and we truly make YOU our top priority during your stay. If there's anything you need ahead of time or any special requests please don't hesitate to ask. You're going to love it here!
My husband Erik and I are finally empty nesters, having raised 4 amazing sons! We've enjoyed hosting Hipcampers for two yearw now, creating lovely spaces for campers and RVers to hang their hat as they travel cross country. The natural next step was to convert our spacious walk out basement into an Air BnB and we've just launched an additional short term rental property, the Alpine Treehouse, a two story loft perched on a cliff amidst the treetops. My husband Erik is an avid Mountain Climber around the world, and I enjoy interior design, baking, swimming and hiking. Its an absolute joy for us to meet people from around the country and around the world and to watch them enjoy the beautiful gardens and modern home we've put so much love an effort into. Welcome! Guests are welcome to text for assistance. I'm available by phone or text from about 6 am til 9 pm. I live on site with my husband in the opposite wing of the house from where you’ll stay so if there are any problems, we are available to respond quickly. Because we’re cliffside you’ll see the city lights and notice the quiet that surrounds you. Walk across the street to hike the great Mount Olympus or take a drive up the Cottonwood Canyons just minutes away for amazing skiing or hiking. Close to a variety of great restaurants and 1/2 mile to the grocery store and gas station. Beautiful golf course just up the street as well. A true getaway! Private road access to property.
