We love the personal interaction with guests from all over the world. Nothing better than happy guests! Our favourite pastime is hiking and walking around the coastal dune veld with the dogs!

Cycads on Sea is a "home away from home" in beautiful St Francis Bay! It is relaxing, comfortable and welcoming! The guest rooms are set in a separate guest wing and each room is individually decorated with a quirky, rustic, yet. homely feel. Guests will see that we are not so much a " modern hotel", rather, it is more like you have come to a "room back at home"! The roof is thatch, which means one can relax, listening to the sea and the birds (unless its Christmas and New Year, where suddenly the quiet village becomes a hive of activity) A good Breakfast is included in our rates. Note that 4 of the 5 rooms can accommodate 2 extra guests, sleeping in single beds on a landing above the bathroom, accessible via a ladder. It is NOT for 2 extra adult friends - more for teens in a family , who can duck under the roof beams - its a bit like a treehouse, but inside! Guests are in walking distance of the sea and the Village. Along with the laid-back, comfortable accommodation, there is a barbeque facility with basic outdoor self-catering facilities and a splash pool. There is also 1 microwave on the property, available in the Relaxation Room along with a couple of guitars, a keyboard and a flat screen TV. When possible, we will also do a bag of laundry for guests. We live on the property and our mission is to Care for our Guests. We try to help with every need. We know, that our country-feel and bohemian brand is not for everybody, but for those guests who choose us, we say THANK YOU and all you are required to do, is to BE HAPPY!
