Millpond House is run by husband and wife, Roger and Merri Mills. The B+B was established in 2005 and has since become one of the most sought after in the village.

Millpond House is a charming guesthouse situated in the quiet and peaceful Swartland suburb of Clarens. There are three tastefully decorated en-suite rooms and one family suite consisting of 2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The guesthouse was built in 2005 and since then has been run by the same owners. The village which is packed with art galleries, restaurants, shops and a brewery is a mere 800 m from the guest house. Take a ten minute stroll through the beautiful tree lined streets, surrounded by mountains and you will come upon this little gem of a town. Millpond House is situated close to the Clarens Village Conservancy where there are many spectacular hiking trails. Enjoy the expansive garden with beautiful trees, bird life in abundance and rose-clad gazebo .... an English country garden in the "Vrystaat". All rooms have either balconies or French doors opening out onto the garden. DSTV (commercial package) free Wi Fi, under-floor heating, electric blankets and small kitchenettes in all rooms. The rooms may be booked individually or the whole house on a Self Catering basis.

Millpond House is wonderfully situated in the quieter part of the village that manages to escape the hustle and bustle of the square on busy weekends. Nevertheless, it is only 800m from the main town square.
