Situated in Hermanus in the Western Cape region, with Old Harbour nearby, Penguino Guesthouse provides accommodation with access to a fitness room. There are many fantastic beaches in and around Hermanus, all with in a 10 minute drive away from Penguino guesthouse. We are number one land based Whale watching in the world. Hermanus has a variety of beautiful walks that is sure to suit your all requirements and sports a challenging 27 hole golf course Hermanus is blessed to have the Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven and Earth) wine region right on its the doorstep. Hermanus is renowned for its vast array of quality restaurants and eateries, which will suit every palate and wallet! Hermanus has always attracted a large number of artistically talented people. You will find numerous painters, sculptors, poets, ceramicists, jewellery designers, glass designers, quilters and photographers in and around Hermanus. The local market, trading on Saturdays (and Sundays during peak season), will give you the opportunity to view a few of the local artists. There are also excellent African curio-type works brought in from further north, but the quilts, ceramics, precious stone jewellery and most fabric paintings are all produced by local artists.
