Starfish Cottage is a modern upmarket self-catering holiday cottage with all the modern amenities for your home away from home holiday in the popular beach destination, Langebaan on the West Coast. The house is located a mere 80m stroll away from Club Mykonos. There are 4 bedrooms, one bedroom has a queen size bed with a bathroom en-suite (with shower), and the second bathroom has a bath and shower. There is a covered patio and braai area, with an 8 seater table, and there is also a spacious upstairs entertainment deck with a wood-burning hot tub. There is a lounge which has a 64 inch flat screen TV offering full DTV, Netflix, and Wi-Fi. There is ample parking space right in front of the house, as well as space for your boat and trailer. The modern Laguna Mall is a 5 minute drive, offering all the shops you will need, and mid town of Langebaan is on your doorstep. You are surrounded by a choice of beautiful beaches, the famous Lagoon, and many excellent restaurants. A variety of attractions is available on the West Coast, such as the West Coast National Park, Die Strandloper open beach restaurant, and Club Mykonos.
I gave up the hustle and bustle of the corporate life in Gauteng and came to settle in Langebaan because I was looking for a quality lifestyle in a beautiful and safe surrounding. Langebaan offers idyllic summers spent outdoors, and beautiful cosy winters, with Darling wine farms and De Groote Pos on your doorstep. I have a hospitality background of many years, and love meeting people. I prefer to give my guests privacy, but I am always available on WhatsApp or on email.
Known as the jewel of the West Coast, Langebaan enjoys almost all year-round sunshine and boasts azure waters and unsurpassed natural beauty. Enjoy wine, craft beer, olives and Weskus cuisine in the many variety of restaurants on offer in Langebaan, or swing into Citrusdal with a zipline, do a lagoon cruise, windsurf, kitesurf, SUP, quad biking, horse riding, and more. Or just chill in your flip-flops and go beach hopping, or stroll through town shopping. Take a boat ride out to the beautiful Kraalbaai, spend the day in the turquoise shallow waters, or just bob around on your lilo at Shark Bay Beach.
