The owner Ben Moolman welcomes you to Thanda Vista - and he promises that, with his intimate knowledge of the area, you will find there is so much to do you will want to stay forever. Ben had retired from a long career in the mining industry. He purchased Thanda Vista and took the reins in the busy season of 2018. He immediately started renovating the guesthouse to create a unique holiday experience for his guests.

Thanda Vista (thanda meaning love in Zulu) is an exclusive Bed & Breakfast establishment just minutes from the white sandy beaches of Plettenberg Bay. Originally build as a family house, previous owners JP and Petro van der Walt later converted the house into a bed and breakfast facility. Having had a long history of successfully operating Thanda Vista they decided to finally retire in a nearby town.

All the various animal sanctuaries in our neighbourhood are well visited by our guests i.e. Birds Of Eden ( 2 1/2 acres of forest covered with a net), Monkeyland (with exotic Monkeys and Apes), Tenikwa (various small cats and tame Cheetahs), Elephant Sanctuary (an education on Elephants), Jukani Wild Life Sanctuary (with 30 big cats, not only from Africa but also from South America and the East housed in big camps, Wolf Sanctuary, Ladywood Snake Park, etc.
