The hotel was great and the staff was amazing. The owner speaks English and is able to help coordinate great tours in the surrounding areas. I was very thankful for the staff's help in coordinating a boat tour of the Mirante Canyons/Lake Furnas and the 4x4 wheeling and visiting all the cascade falls. Definitely stay here if you can.

The guy that works at the pousada, Daniel, was very helpful and friendly. He made us feel at home. The dinner was surprisingly good, typical comida mineira. The rooms were spacious with a beautiful view. We’re there during the coldest nights of July and we’re happy to know that the air con also worked as heater :) we’ll definitely be back!
