The owner and her husband are very welcoming and I felt as if I were part of the family. The property is rustic, so if you want a chic Pousada, there are many other options on the island. Darlan make the BEST breakfast (I am not going to post these photos so you have to find it out yourself!). If you have a lot of water activities (scuba diving etc), it is extremely convenient because the port is 5-min walk. You can call a taxi if you need to go into the town for dinner etc. and it takes you 5 mins to get there. I really loved this place! The owner’s son offers amazing private tours that take you to most amazing places on the island. Hope to come back one day!

We felt sad to move to another hotel however unfortunately the other hotel was booked during COVID and refused to give us a refund. We totally recommend triboju and we have stayed all over the world
