There are several hiking trails in the The Serra da Mantiqueira Mountains, about 30 minutes away by car. Staff at the guest house are happy to provide guests with information on activities in the area. There is a bus station 500 metres from the guest house.

This guest house is in Serra da Mantiqueira mountain area, within a 15-minute drive from Cachoeira da Gomeira waterfall and Pedra do Picu rock. Ibama Park can be reached in 15 minutes by car and Pico das Agulhas Negras peak is 30 km away from property.

Excellent place for a family stay : the pousada has 2 sizeable swimming pools, games (table tennis, baby-foot, pool...), and is located in a farm with lots of animals (horses, cows, chickens, goats, sheep, etc.) - our daughter loved it ! Adults loved it too : we had a very spacious house with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living area, there are 2 great outside barbecue areas to cook your own meat (extra payment of 100 R$ for use), very good and varied breakfast, possibilities to order from nearby restaurants if you're not in the mood to cook in the chalet, nice countryside setting with nice walks nearby (a car is needed to reach them). The staff is very nice and helpful. We'll definitely come back !
