The Pousada is very beautiful, the cuisine is absolutely amazing to my surprise (didn't expect that because of other experiences in other beaches in Brazil, but the cuisine at Bendito Seja is certainly worthy of mention). It's very comfortable to be there during the day because they have comfortable lounge chairs to spend the day at the beach or the garden looking to the beach. Everyone working there was beyond attentive and nice. Loved that the bathroom was big, the shower was great.

the hotel is in front of the ocean, like in the sand! so you can enjoy the beach and still be in the hotel. since Praia do Espelho is a very small village, they don’t have any infrastructure besides de hotels there, so staying in a nice hotel like this with good food is a must. the owners are always there supervising everything, and the staff was wonderful , taking care of everything to keep all the guests happy! I would definitely be back!

The stay at Pousada Bahia was absolutely amazing. I traveled with a friend and initially booked two nights but then extended to four nights. Roberta welcomed us with open arms and was super helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh fruits and juices. Everything was clean. The rooms are spacious and some of them have a hammock outside. The shower had warm water and good water pressure. The wifi was working great. Only on the day of our departure both the electricity and internet were down for about 7 hours in all parts of Caraiva, that happens from time to time. Novo Caraiva is less touristy than Caraiva and from the Pousada, you can walk to the beach and all the way up to Satu Beach (4 km) and the lagoons. Also, it is only a few hundred meters away from the port to transfer to Caraiva by boat (7.50 Reais one-way). The boats run 24/7 and we never had a long wait so traveling back and forth was no issue for us. Big shout out to Franklin who offered us a ride to make life easier. The area is very safe. Thanks for a wonderful time Roberta, Franklin, Tiago, and everyone else; I hope to be back soon!
