We chose the pousada for the beautiful ocean views seen in the photos, and our stay did not disappoint. The rooms are exactly as shown and the breakfast is one of the best we've ever had! Throughout our stay, Isabel, Ezequiel and their family went above and beyond to make us feel at home, answer our questions and suggest activities for the day. They also worked tirelessly to resolve an electricity issue, after a storm caused a power cut in the area. You truly couldn't ask for warmer and more attentive hosts! We got upgraded to a room with sea view, and it was just perfect. The room was big (which is quite rare for Ilha Grande), it had a fridge and air condition, it was cleaned everyday and the view was stunning. To be able to lay in the hammock and turn around to see the ocean, was amazing. Tony and the rest of the staff are extremely nice and helpful! They don’t speak English, but they make it work with smiles, gesticulations and a little bit Google translate. The place is located at the beach and has a great restaurant. I recommend the açaí bowl ;) There are also other great restaurants and beaches nearby, and boat trips arranged everyday. Thank you for a perfect stay!
