The location is amazing. The little town is so old school but it’s very charming. The Baldachin Inn was charming, unique and the place felt welcoming.

This a lovely, centrally located inn. Close to everything and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy. The bed linen and towels were soft and plush.

Can’t beat the location but otherwise meh. They have some nerve charging what they do for a shoebox of a room. The mattress was sagging and lumpy and the pillows felt more like towels. Wifi? Couldn’t prove it by me! It was the worst hotel wifi I’ve seen in some time. Dinner was lovely - it was the highlight.

We loved the historic ambiance of the Inn and the town, and the proximity of the lock system, which we plan to explore by boat in the future.

The inn is located in the centre of the village. Everything is in walking distance, which was nice. We were able to check in as soon as we arrived (noon).
