The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn.
The rooms offer views of the mountains including the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh, all over 4000 metres high.

Great location, comfortable rooms and very clean even with shared bathroom. The staff is really helpful and kind! We will come back and recommend it :)

The Swiss village of Wengen, offering first-row views of the Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen valley, is a little Alpine paradise. I know: my family owns an apartment there, and we've been regular visitors in winter and summer since 1976. Hotel Berghaus is one of Wengen's pearls, and it has always been one of our favourite places for dining out. The restaurant specialises in dishes based on superbly cooked local fresh water fish like pike and Egli (perch). This summer, our apartment was full, so for the first time I booked a room in the hotel. That didn't disappoint either. The fittings and furniture don't seem to have changed since the 1970's, but the owners and managers, the Fontana family, have kept everything in immaculate condition, and my room offered everything I needed, and more: a little balcony where I could sit and read outside. The service is warm, friendly and personal, and you can have your breakfast and other meals on the front terrace, with a breathtaking view of Wengen and the surrounding mountains (see the picture). Cheap it is not; everything Swiss is very expensive these days, alas. But comparatively speaking, Hotel Berghaus offers excellent value for money. No wonder so many of its guests have been coming there for years.

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. This quietly located guest house is 12 km from Grindelwald village centre.

Mürren (Near Lauterbrunnen)
On a cliffside at 1650 meters height in the Bernese Oberland Alps, Mürren is a secret that has been coveted for decades by adventurers from all around the world.
The Drei Berge Hotel is facing the three highest peaks in Switzerland and is named after them (The Three Mountains). The Jungfrau peak is protected by UNESCO and gives its name to the restaurant where you can drink water of the valley, the purest in the world.

The hotel service is good, and it is kept clean and comfortable. We booked a balcony room, it has a good view, and the double room is a little smaller, but also good. The location of the hotel is also good, and It's next to the cable car station. Unfortunately, since we went to the Jungfrau, we were not able to have dinner in the hotel. Next time I go to Murren,I will book the hotel again.

Convenient parking. Easy, friendly, and helpful check-in. Comfortable, clean, charming rooms. The hotel restaurant offered quality dinners with exceptional service. Breakfast was well stocked with many options. The overall atmosphere and customer service were excellent and recommended. I would gladly return for a longer stay in the area.

The location is a reasonable walk or short bus ride from the train station. We had all the amenities we needed to cook our own meals (and the town Coop) has a great selection if you’re looking to save some money on dinners. Very popular with the locals. The location couldn not be better. Staff were friendly and generally kind. The room was clean and comfortable but you can hear people move about which is to be expected with older buildings. It’s great value to explore the gorgeous Lauterbrunnen valley and surrounds.

We were welcomed on arrival and our room faced the beautiful Lauterbrunnen Valley. Comfortable room and a great dinner one evening. A walk to Trummelbach Falls was a highlight. Plus the Schilthorn experience and train to Kleine Scheideg with easy Eiger walk were outstanding
