Surrounded by nature and the sound of the birds, it was true paradise. As a solo traveller I was worried it would be hard to meet people but it was very social, and although you can't leave really for dinner, you really didn't need to because the food was next level. Everything about my stay was perfect and I'd go back in a heartbeat (I tried to in fact but it was fully booked - a testament to how great it is!)

From the beginning, I was informed by the owner of the accommodation, Luis, about the options for traveling to the town of Minca and also for traveling from Minca. I received valuable information about things to do or see in the area. The host spoke fluent English, which was highly unusual in Colombia, and we appreciated and utilized it even more because of that. Everything was great, and we would return again.

It had an incredible view with many bird sightings. Our favorite part was laying on the hammock before sunrise to soak in the environment. The staff were extremely helpful and communicative.
