I was able to check in early and was moved into my own room at no extra cost, so that I could feel safe as a solo female traveller. They were so generous with making sure I had everything I needed, from explaining where to buy credit for my phone, to lending me a charger, to even dropping me off at the dock with all my bags. If your looking for a chilled space on the lake this is the spot. The hot water shower was a winner and the bed was very comfortable!

The children are delightful. I took them out to the bee place a couple of minutes around the corner. Cats were really cute. Great location. Rooms were rustic but good for the price and outside bathroom and shower were spotlessly clean and not an issue at all for me (a few steps from the bedroom). Restaurant was nice and staff were friendly and helpful. Organised a hike to Indians nose for sunrise which was great and would recommend.

I ate at the restaurant for my free breakfast and for dinners. The food was delicious, and I made great friends with those who worked there! The view from the hotel is stunning (you can see Rostro Maya perfectly), and I really enjoyed taking out one of the hotel's kayaks.
