The hotel is amazing. We had a hot bath which was perfect after a day of walking. The staff were very professional and friendly. The traditional breakfast and dinner (which was included in our booking) were an amazing experience. They bring you a lot of food and we ended up so full 😄 they have public and private onsen. We tried the private onsen and we recommend people to try it :) the view of Mt. Fuji and the lake on the roof is amazing. The room came with the tatami floor and the room was huge. 100% recommend

Amazing location right by the lake! The staff are so friendly and service was great! Free shuttle bus to pick you up from Lake Kawaguchi Station and drop you off as well. It is on the pricey side understandable since we had the lake side view and Japanese style room. It includes kaseki style dinner and breakfast too. However, since 2 out of 3 had dietary requirements they weren't able to accommodate us but the person that did have the food said it was an amazing experience.

It was a traditional japanese style. The food was fantastic, facilities were excellent. We felt very welcoming. They work like Ninjas. We go for dinner and your living area becomes your bedroom. I rely recommended. Not saying the views for the mountain Fuji. We had a amazing time.

dinners were ok. breakfast was a little unimaginative but otherwise adequate . would have preferred slight extension of the breakfast hours . view from room was excellent but the rain and clouds prevented views of Mt Fuji after the first day room was very dark ; had to keep a light on somewhere to get to the bathroom at night

We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!
