Great location near the start of the Malecón. Close to many shops and restaurants. Clean facilities, nice pool, good breakfast. A nice place for families. Excellent security for both the guests and the vehicles. Dogs are allowed, we stayed with our large one. We had a balcony facing the pool. We could hear the kids playing but noise stopped at 10 every day. From our room we couldn’t hear any noise from outside the hotel. Staff were great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Dale, the Innkeeper, is the kindest, most interesting person, and the whole staff will embrace you as if you were a member of the family. As a single female traveler, it is places like Reina del Mar that provide a home base for me to explore a new city. The room was spacious and just as pictured in the photos, the breakfasts were creative and delicious, and the pool area was an oasis of calm in an otherwise busy city. I would give Reina del Mar many more "stars" than the maximum, if I could.

I was so embarrassed and worried they weren’t going to be able to clean our room. We went to eat and came back in less than 2 hours and it was super clean.
