This genuinely has been our favorite place to stay in our 6 weeks travel to México, even though we stayed only two nights (it was way too short..). The family that runs the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. They shared Méxican traditions with us, helped us out with a money issue and so much more. If you ever need a place to stay in Mazunte and feel at home, we highly recommend. Also, the room was very clean, included airco, shower cold but you need that in Mazunte and nice hammock chairs to chill in. At first we had only planned 3 days there. But since it was so beautiful, we extended it. We had a beautiful view of the sea. The outdoor bathroom with bucket shower was a highlight every day. The owner is very nice and gave us good tips. There is also a well-equipped communal kitchen with a fridge that everyone can use. At night you can only hear the sound of the animals and the sea. The beach with the most beautiful sunset and the town are only a few minutes walk away. There is a small supermarket right next door. I can absolutely recommend this accommodation.
