When I arrived they didn't allow the taxi to get in saying Nungwi inn was closed for renovations and would only open in a few months. This was April, I booked in January and haven't received any information about this changed. I called the number showing at booking.com and after some back and forth I was finally given a room at its sister hotel Sanders, which was great!!AliceSolo traveller

Rooms are simple yet very comfortable. We really liked the pool. It is very convenient that Café Dodoki with wide selection of tasty meals is located at the property so no need to go far when hungry. The staff was nice, Tony was always ready to help and even surprised us with complimentary fish dinner.

The environment is very friendly and it's really like being at home. Food is very good both for breakfast and dinner. Staff is nice and they supported us to book excursions and to rent the motorbike (including obtaining the permit). You can wash clothes and enjoy the company of two dogs and one cat. The place is safe, with security guard all nights at the entrance.
