Set in a converted mill dating from 1870, this unique boutique Inn sits on the banks of the Mill River, 5 miles from downtown Northampton.
The Inn's Cafe is open every day from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, serving a variety of homemade breakfast and lunch items.

This inn had such a nice atmosphere. The room was big, very very clean. Lots of little thoughtful touches: a full size soap dispenser with pump, coffee machine with creamer, different teas, a couple of water bottles, lots of places to put and hang your things, lots of electric outlets. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of the waterfall. Right across the bridge there's a nice tavern that serves cocktails and excellent brick oven pizza. I think it's now my favourite inn in the Amherst area.

I also love that I live in Northampton and am able to feel like I am on some exotic vacation, if only for a night. The absolute best thing is the price!!! The Hotel Northampton is even cheaper than the Quality Inn! The only thing the Quality Inn has that The Hotel Northampton is a pool. Nothing else is comparable

They were on top of the broken toilet immediately and they responded very quickly to the person screaming and banging on walls in the middle of the night. The breakfast buffet is also terrific - very quick to be refilled and very clean and tidy and there was so much more there than expected. They even stock TV dinners for late-night snacking. The sofa-bed was ready to go.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. We got great dinner recommendations in town. The place is very comfortable and almost a home away from home. The Tavern 🍺 waitress was so sweet to me as I was alone and seated me at a corner high top. Delicius apps, food & dinner. Delicious 😋 😋 😋 Bread Pudding like my Mom made, and drinks 🍸. Very reasonable. Also safe area for a female alone. Will be back many times.
