Location was handy to everything but without transport luckily we were able to walk to downtown as it was a bit further than thought. However 5 minutes to airport. Our room was beautiful and security made us feel comfortable. When we arrived we were grateful for help with bags to our room on 3 rd floor. All staff very helpful.

Walk around the corner to the restaurants and the beach. It's quiet, charming, clean inexpensive, and you get a lot of space... kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom. The bed/linen was very comfortable and shower great! The staff is so kind and helpful. My fav place in La Jolla so far!

We walked to an amazing dinner at Mitch's Seafood, then to Eppig Brewing (both right on the water) and enjoyed a stroll along the harbor watching the sunset. The location of this hotel is amazing.

We had dinner on the balcony, which was cool and cute! The beach is like a hop, skip, and jump away. It has a rustic feel and they have a food truck! If you have a dog you can bring your dog. I was impressed that this is a dog friendly hotel and area, but it doesn't smell like dogs. Amazing location, amazing price!
