Came to Tampa for a Lightning game and stayed for 1 night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was updated and shower was hot and had good pressure. Best was the shuttle bus and especially the driver who was engaging and funny. It was pouring rain and he dropped us off at our dinner restaurant and picked us up near the Amalie Arena after the game.

Breakfast was good. Location was convenient to get around to our destinations Most importantly we like the room layout and configuration which is consistent with another Hyatt we stayed in Minneapolis. Although worth noting the finish is starting to look a little worn but. Nothing serious. Just showing it its age a little. Otherwise great room.

I've been staying at this location off and on for 18 yrs. 1st o have stayed since Country Inn And Suites. Room entry literally was horrible. I had to use 3 sets of keys and the door entry on door was broken and literally had to push the door open with my shoulder. Room was very clean. No complaints there but it Did wreak of smoke and I saw a Palmetto Bug otherwise a roach. Thats all..

Awesome location! You take a 15-20 min free tram moments from your door step straight into downtown Tampa. The street the hotel is on has a lot of bars and restaurants. Book dinner at The Columbia restaurant in the old Bar area of the restaurant. Best Spanish food.

Didn’t have breakfast in hotel. Walkable distance for breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurants. Loved being on the Riverwalk. Very nice venue for the wedding reception we attended in the hotel. Friendly, attentive staff. The beds were comfortable and the room had plenty of room.

The Kondo Tiki was unique, clean, comfortable and had pretty views. From the moment you walk in the door, you smile. Even though I had made some snafu’s with the logistics at the beginning, Chris was patient and helpful. He was very easy to communicate with.
