The location is exceptional, one a one lane road in the mountains of Appenzell. It was mid April but we had a lot of snow every day, but the roads were plowed and the hotel is very accessible, even in poor weather. The hotel is old but the interior is updated and the rooms are large, modern, and very clean. The food is excellent and they cooked two unique Swiss items for us that were not on the menu. The staff is exceptional.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful, the apartment was so clean and we felt comfortable to stay in it. It was absolutely quiet at night, and the surroundings were all green. A relaxing place to stay! The hostess was also so kind to find two toy truck/cars for the kids to play with, which was beyond our expectation :)

Esta posada rural está situada en el distrito Dettingen de Constanza, a 10 minutos en auto del centro de la ciudad y del puerto. I really like our stay! The room was very comfortable and warm. The staff was very lovely. Everyone made us feel comfortable, even if we had to walk around the restaurant, during dinner, with our 5-month-old daughter to keep her entertained. They also went above and beyond by keeping our dishes warm and making sure we could enjoy our dinner (food was also delicious!). I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone!

The location is excellent for travelling, a small village with plenty of good restaurants, shops and ATM. Onsite parking is included. Friendly and obliging host with excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and nicely fitted out and the views from the window were simply stunning: vineyards and church in the foreground with Bodensee and the Swiss Alps behind. This made my day!

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Late Check-in was possible and everything went well. The breakfast was very delicious and the Guest house was very cool, the room had a mini fridge and a good wardrobe, towels were soft and available for all people in the room.

El Gasthof zur Traube se encuentra en Constanza, a 2,4 km del estadio Bodensee y a 3,9 km de la Universidad de Constanza, y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, wifi gratis en todas las instalaciones y... I wasn't aware that the rooms were over a biergarten and restaurant but it did not impact our stay in the least. The breakfast in the morning was typical European (fresh rolls and croissants, meats and cheeses, fruits, vegetables, yogurt and cereals). On the second day the innkeeper kindly came to our room to check on us when she noted that we had not been down yet. Very quiet room, with room darkening shades. A bit of a ways from city center but really close to (free) bus and ferry. Very little English spoken (after all it is Germany) but staff is patient and most accommodating.
