Nestled on a crest between Lake Millstatt and Spittal an der Drau in the Naturschutzgebiet Egelsee Nature Reserve, Lug ins Land boasts a barbecue and children's playground. We had a fantastic stay, arriving late to find the owners exceptionally kind, who prepared a delicious plate of ham and cheese for us. The room was spacious, big, and impeccably clean.

Featuring a restaurant serving traditional Carinthian cuisine, Landhaus Gritschacher is 4 km from the centre of Spittal an der Drau and just a 2-minute walk from the Teurnia Roman Museum. The location is ideal for Alpe-Adria Radweg cyclist. The owners are extremely kind and nice and willing to help with information and everything. The food was excellent. Breakfast was amazingly rich and the choice of different types of food - mostly made by owners from the locally produced ingredients and is eco-fiendly. E-bike storage is available with charging units. Leberknödelsuppe and all sorts of savory or sweet dumplings/raviolli/nudeln are to be tasted.
