Located in the southern Jutland town of Løgumkloster, this retreat centre is on the grounds of an old Cistercian monastery and church. It offers free WiFi and buffet restaurant. Peaceful location in lovely grounds. Not a standard hotel - a bit more communal (unforced) eg all eat dinner at 6 pm with a focus on finding peace and slowing down . Many rooms to read and study in. The manager showed us around and explained the concept even though we were really just passing through. Also very good value for money by Danish standards

Situated next to Schackenborg Castle in the picturesque village of Møgeltønder, this inn dates back to 1687. It offers free Wi-Fi, tastefully decorated rooms and a gourmet restaurant. One wonders how close to paradise a hotel can come. Schackenborg Slotskro comes a very close! Yes its pricey, but its worth it if you can afford this luxury. Brobyværk Kro is located in Brobyværk town centre, next to the Odense River. It offers rooms with seating areas, TVs, free WiFi and parking. We liked every single thing about the property! The rooms are spacious with a sofa, kettle and two desks, the bathroom was bare but spacious. The breakfast was lovely, the staff super friendly, funny and chatty. There are also two water bikes available to use on the river and there’s even a spot outside (that isn’t part of the hotel) with picnic tables. The decor is lovely and the beds are super comfortable.

The location was ideal for our visit! A short walk to my Aunt’s house! The breakfast was amazing: huge selection of delicious food and drink! Take away dinner was very high quality and portions were large!
