Doté d'un jardin donnant sur le volcan Pasochoa, l'Hacienda Santa Ana occupe une charmante maison au design moderne et antique. Il se trouve à 7 km du parc national du Cotopaxi. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda Santa Ana. It is perfectly located and close to Cotopaxi Park. There is not much around in the area, which means you have calm and quiet the entire time. We were extremely fortunate that we were the only guests, which means that we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff on-site was super helpful and showed us around the area, introduced us to the animals on the farm, and provided us with advice, rubber boots, and great hospitality overall. Food options are limited, however, we enjoyed the simple yet tasty dishes that were served for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast was included in the price and had a good variety. Please note that you need a taxi or private car to reach the Hacienda as it is in the middle of nowhere. (Which is probably the biggest selling point!) - Speaking of selling point, this accommodation is higher priced than most in the area, but it was so worth it!

An absolutely stunning old historical building with great views from the roof. This is a proper hotel, rather than a hostel (their hostel-hostel is in the basement), so no real kitchen access, but the staff is lovely and the accomodations are super clean and comfy. I was in the 6-bed dorm (this is the only dorm which is in the upstairs hotel portion rather than in the hostel area), and it was great.

Nice walk with horses and great views above the hacienda. We experienced problems with our credit cards at the time of payment. The lady at the reception proved very friendly, patient and helpful.
