We highly recommend staying in beautiful Sierra Alisos for several days to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the surrounding nature, the excellent food, the interesting conversations by the evening fireplace, the daytrips to the surrounding area, the nice rooms and last but not least the wonderful atmosphere created by the warm hosts! Featuring a garden overlooking the Pasochoa Volcano, Hacienda Santa Ana is set in a charming house combining modern and antique design. It is located 7 km from Cotopaxi National Park. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda Santa Ana. It is perfectly located and close to Cotopaxi Park. There is not much around in the area, which means you have calm and quiet the entire time. We were extremely fortunate that we were the only guests, which means that we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff on-site was super helpful and showed us around the area, introduced us to the animals on the farm, and provided us with advice, rubber boots, and great hospitality overall. Food options are limited, however, we enjoyed the simple yet tasty dishes that were served for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast was included in the price and had a good variety. Please note that you need a taxi or private car to reach the Hacienda as it is in the middle of nowhere. (Which is probably the biggest selling point!) - Speaking of selling point, this accommodation is higher priced than most in the area, but it was so worth it!

Set in Zumbagua, Imperial Zumbahua offers 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I enjoyed my days in zumbahua a lot, and that mostly thanks to the hosts of this nice hotel. The room was clean, strong wifi, good breakfast and a central location. But I really have to thank everyone working there. A superfriendly, caring and helpful family, doing everything they can to ensure you have a good time.

Featuring free WiFi, Posada Ingapirca offers pet-friendly accommodation in Ingapirca, 42 km from Cuenca. There is a restaurant and bar and guests can have fun at the games room. Fantastic location, great food and close to the ruins.

Nag-aalok ng eleganteng palamuti at libreng WiFi ang ni-renovate na Colonial house na ito sa makasaysayang distrito ng Latacunga na parang larawan. An absolutely stunning old historical building with great views from the roof. This is a proper hotel, rather than a hostel (their hostel-hostel is in the basement), so no real kitchen access, but the staff is lovely and the accomodations are super clean and comfy. I was in the 6-bed dorm (this is the only dorm which is in the upstairs hotel portion rather than in the hostel area), and it was great.

Situated in Azogues, 29 km from Pumapungo Museum, Hosteria Santa Ana features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The staff was excellent n most helpful!

Offering an indoor pool, a terrace and a restaurant, Hosteria San Jose de Sigchos is located 3 km from Sigchos town centre. Free WiFi access is available in public areas. Beautiful old hacienda. Nice walk with horses and great views above the hacienda. We experienced problems with our credit cards at the time of payment. The lady at the reception proved very friendly, patient and helpful.
