Set in Sherborne, 44 km from Longleat Safari Park, The Plume of Feathers offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. This 4-star inn offers room service and free WiFi. A true find. Could not have been more central to the sites of interest of the town. Very spacious room with a good bathroom with excellent facilities. Welcoming items in the room included freshly ground coffee in a sealed jar and delicious filled and coated brandysnaps. We were invited to join the monthly quiz. Great fun and local teams made us welcome. Good breakfast in the morning with variety on offer with a focus on local produce. Evening meal was very good and also unusual with tapas-style dishes of Italian style cooking. Recommended. We shall return.

The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was classy with a large bath capable of holding a large man. The food was excellent as was the service.

It was a beautiful location right by the water and the room was just perfect for me. The breakfast was great as well, lots to choose from and lots in the buffet as well. Everyone was very friendly and kind.
